A non-profit research & conservation organization dedicated to preserving pollinator diversity and health in agricultural, urban, and industrial landscapes.

are designed to help better understand and protect pollinators and biodiversity, while maintaining function in agricultural, urban, and industrial landscapes.

This program focuses on monitoring and conserving native and wild bee species. By working with industry and local businesses we are able to monitor and improve wild bee populations in urban and & industrial spaces. Program participants receive a full species inventory of pollinators nesting at their sites, and tailored recommendations on how to improve bee diversity, without sacrificing business or landscape function.

Identifying flora and fauna is a necessary component of monitoring and conservation projects. However, identifying insects and plants to species level is a specialized skill that takes many years to develop for particular groups of organisms (bees are one of those groups). Our team is specialized in plant, insect and bee taxonomy and can help you realize your research, monitoring and conservation goals.

Although the European honey bee is the most widely known crop pollinator, other managed species (e.g. the alfalfa leafcutting bee) and wild bee species are essential pollinators that play a crucial role in agroecosystems. Our  research focuses on improving the health and production of these native and naturalized bee species, to ultimately enhance crop pollination and food and forage  production.
